28th Annual Richford Potato Festival

The 28th Annual Richford Potato Festival will be happening on Saturday, September 18th from 9am – 3pm.

Events will take place at the Richford Historical Society—located in the Richford Graded Schoolhouse on Rte 38 in Richford—and throughout the Town.

Graded Schoolhouse, Richford, NY (Now the history museum)

At the schoolhouse we will have:

OUTSIDE:

  • Berkshire Library book sale
  • vendors, raffles
  • entertainment (including the Cornell Raptor program)
  • sweet potato and taters & cream ice-cream.
Grading and bagging potatoes. The museum has a working potato grader on site.

INSIDE:

  • artifacts and information on the history of the Town
  • tours of the 2 story structure and ring our historic school bell!

The Richford Congregational Church will be holding a quilt show in the sanctuary, have food for sale in the kitchen and some music outside.

There will be activities at the Richford Health Center, chicken BBQ at the Fire Station and numerous activities at the Rawley Park including vendors & kid’s games.
