ONTARIO COUNTY MASTER GARDENER’S PLANT SALE RETURNING IN 2021
Rain or shine, the Master Gardeners of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County will hold their annual plant sale on Saturday, May 8, 2021, 9:00 am to Noon at Cornell Cooperative Extension, 480 North Main Street, Canandaigua. There will be no early inspection.
Due to COVID, the plant sale will not be like in past years. Restrictions will be enforced: people will be required to wear masks; social distancing will be observed; there will be a limited number allowed into the plant sale area at one time; and there will be one-way traffic in the plant sale area.
The sale will feature perennial and annual flowers; and some vegetable plants for you to add to your gardens. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and to assist you in plant selection. Bring boxes to carry home your purchases. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the educational outreach of the Homes and Grounds programming that the Master Gardener volunteers perform for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County.
If you have plants you would like to donate, please call: 585-394-3977 x 436 or 427. For more information on the plant sale or the Master Gardener program, call 585-394-3977 x 427 or email nea8@cornell.edu
