VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System to Hold COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on Livingston County Campus
Mount Morris, NY, April 7, 2021 — The VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System will be holding a COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Mount Morris on April 17, 2021. The clinic, which will use the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine, is scheduled to run from 10AM to 2PM at the Livingston County Conference Center at 1 Murray Hill Drive in Mount Morris.
The clinic is open to anyone who served in the military, their caregivers and spouses, and some other beneficiaries under the authority granted by the SAVE LIVES Act, signed by President Joe Biden on March 24, 2021.
“We would like to thank the VA for expanding their efforts to reach our rural communities,” stated Jason Skinner, Livingston County’s Director of Veteran Services. “The vaccination clinic at our county campus will allow for increased accessibility to the vaccine among local veterans, their spouses and caregivers.”
