Don’t Let the Heat Get the Best of You

The summer months are here and the warm weather can take a toll on our bodies. Everyone is at risk for heat related illnesses.
Tips to beat the heat and stay safe during the summer months include:
Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing, sunglasses, and a hat.
Drink water to hydrate the body.
Eat small meals and eat more often.
Slow down. Avoid strenuous activity.
Stay in air conditioning when possible.
