Environmental Management Council Seeking Nominations For Earth Day Award
GENESEO, N.Y., Jan. 30, 2024 — The Livingston County Environmental Management Council is seeking nominations for its 26th annual Earth Day Award. The nomination period is now open and submissions will be accepted through 4 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024.
Nomination forms are available online at www.livingstoncounty.us/108/Earth-Day-Awards or by calling the Livingston County Planning Department at (585) 243-7550 or (585) 335-1734.
The award recognizes individuals, businesses, agencies or organizations for outstanding achievements in preserving or improving the Livingston County environment or educating others about Livingston County’s environment. The accomplishments of those being nominated may have occurred during the previous year or may involve on-going efforts spanning a number of years. Nominees are not required to reside in Livingston County, but the actions and achievements on which the nomination is based must have occurred partially or wholly in Livingston County. Both the public and private sectors may submit nominations.
