Blue’s Magnificent Tale on Display

Artist D.E. Bentley will be showing a selection of art book creations and illustrations from her recently completed children’s story, Blue’s Magnificent Tale, at MacFadden Coffee Company. The exhibit will run through the month of January with an opening and author reading(s) of the story on January 13, 2024 from 3-5 PM.

Additional images from the story, and related art, will also be on exhibit – with an opening reception January 13 from 1-3 PM – at The Ontario County Historical Society, 55 N. Main Street, Canandaigua, NY (part of the Ontario County Arts Council exhibit).

D. E. Bentley is an artist / illustrator, writer and publishing editor who has lived in the Finger Lakes Region for most of her life. Her love of children’s literature is the result of many years as a teacher. Although most of her teaching was at the secondary level, Blue’s Magnificent Tale brings her back to her earliest years as an educator, teaching pre-school aged readers.
