GVCA Presents the 2023 Artful Holidays Celebration
Mount Morris, NY – The Genesee Valley Council on the Arts is thrilled to announce the return of the beloved Artful Holidays celebration, a boutique-style, juried fine arts and crafts show and sale that has been enchanting the community for over 30 years. For 2023, this festive event will take place in our galleries at 4 Murray Hill Drive in Mount Morris, running from December 2nd to December 22nd.
Event Schedule:
- Members-Only Holiday Party – December 1st: We kick off the festivities with an exclusive members-only holiday party on December 1st. It’s a special evening to celebrate with our dedicated GVCA members and enjoy a sneak peek of the incredible art and crafts.
- Open to the Public – December 2nd: On December 2nd, we open our doors to the general public, welcoming art enthusiasts and holiday shoppers to join in the merriment. The Artful Holidays Celebration promises to be a perfect destination for finding unique gifts and immersing oneself in the holiday spirit.
In addition to the curated selection of high-quality arts and crafts from regional artists, Artful Holidays will also feature “Holidays on the Hill” on December 17th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Families can enjoy the opportunity to get pictures with Santa Claus for just $5 per child. Along with the photo, each child will receive a prepackaged ornament and cookie to decorate. It’s a delightful addition to the Artful Holidays experience that captures the magic of the season.
Another enchanting addition to the event is a special performance by the Brockport Symphony Orchestra on December 9th at 2:00 PM. This musical delight is a perfect complement to the visual arts and crafts on display, adding a melodic dimension to the Artful Holidays experience.
