With Autumn firmly entrenched throughout the Finger Lakes Region, the Livingston County Tourism Office has produced a helpful guide that showcases the endless fun that the season has to offer throughout the County for residents and visitors alike.
The fall season always brings endless adventures for the entire family to the Genesee River Valley. From seasonal events, festive food and drink offerings, memorable farm experiences, guided ghost tours and more, Livingston County has so many opportunities for you to get outside and fall in love with autumn.
“Autumn in Livingston County is a special time,” said Kelly Burns, Livingston County’s Director of Tourism. “Whether you’re looking to get outdoors, enjoy a farm-to-table dining experience, celebrate the harvest season or shop locally in one of our charming downtown districts, Livingston County has something for everyone.”
The guide offers limitless opportunity for fall fun including a detailed look into some of the best leaf-peeping sites throughout the County like Letchworth and Stony Brook State Parks, Conesus and Hemlock Lakes, Avon’s Five Arch Bridge, Reynolds Gully and more. Sticking with the outdoor theme, the 56-page guide also provides ideas for ample family fun including pumpkin and apple picking, sunflower farms, farmers’ markets and even an alpaca farm.
Additionally, the guide sheds light on various restaurants and eateries, artisans and crafters, breweries and local businesses that are sure to make your fall experience in Livingston County memorable.

Looking ahead, the guide also dives into the planning and preparatory work that is well underway for the upcoming total solar eclipse, which will take place on April 8, 2024. This once-in-a-generation event is expected to draw between 350,000-500,000 visitors to the Finger Lakes region and will be the first total solar eclipse to hit the area since 1925.
