Dynamic Interpretation at ACWC
Dynamic Interpretation exhibition opens at the Arts Council for Wyoming County’s (ACWC) Main Street Gallery in Perry on Friday, October 20, featuring the work of three GLOW Creatives artists.
This interactive exhibition and reception will showcase the work of:
- Susan Ferrari Rowley: Sculpture
- Gaitrie Devi Subryan: Dance
- Keith Walters: Photography
This exhibition is a “combination of each artist’s areas of expertise and talent”. Hence, “their contributions have resulted in an immersive experience for the viewer”. Artist Susan Ferrari said that the “concept was for the movement of cultural Indian dance and costume to be captured photographically, and then those two elements inspired large-scale sculptures”.
The public is invited to attend this interactive reception, meet the artists, and enjoy art vibes, food, and much more.
Dynamic Interpretation Opening Reception starts at 6:30 PM and is open to all ages.
The ACWC reminds the public that visits to the gallery are free, but the experience is invaluable, and we look forward to welcoming everyone.
The Arts Council for Wyoming County (ACWC) has created opportunities to bring arts into their rural communities through programming, grants, and art events for over forty years. Located on Main Street Perry, the ACWC has produced the Letchworth Arts and Crafts Show, one of the largest and highest-rated shows in the region. Funding for the ACWC is made possible in part with support from the New York State Council on the Arts with support from the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. The ACWC’s mission and work align with NYSCA’s goal of “impacting a broad, diverse constituency in New York State.” We are also committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion with a deep commitment to supporting local and regional artists whose investment of their time and talent plays an essential role in the health and vitality of our community. Additional funding for the ACWC comes from the Wyoming County Government, foundations, private donors, and members.
