History Sundays
Finger Lakes TV, a publicly owned broadcast system, has launched a new initiative, History Sundays, a weekly film festival of local history videos every Sunday from 4 to 10 p.m.
Finger Lakes TV began as a public access cable TV station in 1984 but now is a multi-platform, non-commercial community resource. You can find Finger Lakes TV (also called FLTV) as follows:
- Spectrum cable channel 1304 in Wayne, Seneca and Ontario counties and parts of Cayuga and Yates counties
- Roku
- Online at fingerlakestv.org.live
- On the Cablecast app (Download from Google Play here), which supports public access stations across the region.
Historical societies and local historians are welcome to submit high quality videos to be shared on History Sundays. Finger Lakes TV can also record events for a fee. Contact the station at communityaffairs@flcc.edu or (585) 785-1623 for more information.
