He lives in Rochester and teaches in the Solstice Low-residency MFA Program at Pine Manor College in Boston.
Mina Hatami is an Iranian-American poet. A summer vacation brought her to America forty years ago, and she stayed. She is educated in Philosophy and Public Administration. She says she doesn’t write poetry but “my poems write me or about me.” Her writing gets a rhythm and a flow when she feels comfortable in her skin. She works teaching financial literacy for a nonprofit organization and also enjoys painting, dancing, journaling and being outdoors.
The event from 7pm until 9 is free and open to the public, to perform music or literature or to listen.
